Why this service matters

E-Waste Cleanouts & Drive Destruction

Best for homes, offices, property managers, and businesses that need secure e-waste pickup and coordinated hard-drive destruction in Central Oregon.

This page explains the service clearly: what gets hauled, what customers should expect, and where the crew can help fastest.

$30/unit (0–100) · $25/unit (101+) · Final quote depends on count, pickup scope, and handling.
Tell us roughly how many drives need destruction and what other e-waste is in the load (computers, monitors, servers, printers, cables). Photos help us scope the pickup and confirm the unit count.

How this lane works

Old computers, hard drives, servers, and office electronics need a different level of care than a normal junk load. Junk Huggers provides secure pickup and handling for e-waste cleanouts, then coordinates physical drive destruction through a carefully vetted shredding partner. A Certificate of Destruction is available after destruction is completed and confirmed.

This is not on-site shredding. Junk Huggers does not currently operate shredding equipment. Drives are picked up, separated, handled securely, and routed to the vetted third-party partner who performs the physical destruction. Once the partner confirms destruction, a Certificate of Destruction can be issued.

How it works: (1) Schedule a secure pickup — we collect your e-waste, drives, computers, or office electronics from your home, office, storage area, or commercial space. (2) Secure handling — drives are separated and handled securely while we prepare them for destruction through our vetted partner. (3) Third-party shredding — physical drive destruction is completed by the partner (not on-site). (4) Certificate of Destruction — issued after the partner confirms destruction.

Drive destruction pricing is by unit count: $30 per unit for 0–100 units, and $25 per unit for 101+ units. Pickup, hauling, and logistics may be quoted separately depending on scope. Final pricing is confirmed after review of the count, pickup access, and handling requirements.

Yes. A Certificate of Destruction is available after the shredding partner completes and confirms destruction.

Service FAQ

What counts as a unit?

A unit generally means one hard drive, SSD, or similar storage device requiring destruction. Final unit count is confirmed during review.

Service FAQ

Do you take other e-waste?

Yes — we can remove computers, monitors, printers, office electronics, cables, and related e-waste. Some items may require special handling or recycling fees.

Service FAQ

Is this included with regular junk removal?

Standard e-waste removal may be part of a normal cleanout, but certified drive destruction is priced separately by unit count.
